A room (precisely Luke Hostel room 47) got burnt in the early hours of Thursday March 27 2015. Most of the room's occupants' luggage were burnt, including books, clothes, boxes and several valuable items. Some people are speculating that the fire was caused by a boiling ring left on by one of the students while others are saying that it was caused by an unplugged iron. Thankfully no lives were lost and nobody was wounded.
Minutes after the fire was doused, the Dean of Student affairs, MRS. Sangoyomi was seen in the hostel examining the room. The fate of the room's occupants are not yet known but we hope they don't get into much trouble. Come back for updates on this post and more info.
